Healing in Forgiving

While forgiving might not be easy , but it will be very beneficial for you both physically and mentally.
Forgive not for others but for your self.
Forgiving others while practicing it will help you mitigate against anxiety , depression and other mind illnessess.
Forgiveness is needed for you to heal. Holding on to resentment and hatred is like " stabbing your heart with a knife without ever removing it ". Without forgiveness you will not heal , your'e only letting your heart bleed and hurt , non stop.
Forgiveness does not come from others. It is a self responsibility , that you alone can do and can only do. You do not need confirmation from others nor approval.
Forgiveness is a long process of understanding and of faith. It will not be easy and fast , but once you get the taste of being free from hurt , you will realize how worthy is forgiveness, because it gives peace of mind. And that pain do not matter anymore.
You begin to look what is best for you , to move forward and to be better. You begin to heal.
Let me qoute this ; "The act that hurt or offended you might always remain a part of your life, but forgiveness can lessen its grip on you and help you focus on other, more positive parts of your life,". But "forgiveness doesn't mean that you deny the other person's responsibility for hurting you, and it doesn't minimize or justify the wrong. You can forgive the person without excusing the act."
Don't forgive to forget, but forgive to forward
Forgive and live positive !
